Ran a paved path next to Trax with Leslie this morning.  It was a beautiful morning out.  The knees are still a little tender, but I will ice and massage all week to keep the ITBands happy. I am a little concerned about Leslie though - she saw penguins on our run.....

Cool- penguins are a good omen. They mean that you will beable to run your best in the next 7-14 days. It is also a PR omen. All PR's will be smashed in the next race you run.

Sorry about your ITB :( Make it behave!!! Very nice run!!!

Okay, Penquins/ pigeons??? They both start with P and I was pooped okay???

Thanks for the good run!

Does anyone know what that trail by the Trax is called? It was my first time on it and I loved it, as far as a paved trail goes. I always love getting away from traffic. Does anyone know how far it goes?

The trail is called the Queen's Penguin Trail.

I almost spewed my drink all over the computer. Thanks for the name, Marion!

Les, I found this in an old article from 2004:

It's not exactly a walk on the wild side, but it is a bit unusual for Utah.

Sandy residents now can walk the length of their city, from 8400 South to 11400 South, on a trail beside the Utah Transit Authority's TRAX light-rail corridor.

The new "Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality" trail was officially dedicated Thursday at a ceremony near the 10000 South TRAX station.

Personally - let's go with Marion's name for the trail

Hands down, the trail name is The Queen's Penquin Trail!!!!! But that was an interesting bit of info. Now we have to try it all the way to the end.

Hey! I just got a really cool postcard from Venice!!!!!! Thanks buddy!!!

Thank you! I agree my name is MUCH better. You should make signs. Let's see if you guys can make it stick! Wouldn't that be HILLARIOUS!!!
