I think I did 7 miles tonight - about 2/3 of it running.  I didn't take a watch - but was out for 1 hr 45 minutes.  It felt good to be running and moving.  I listened to a couple of the Trails and Tribulations podcasts while I was out and started thinking about the 50 mile road ultra I am planning for October.

I think after the Park City Marathon - I will try and do another half marathon that afternoon on the Jordan River Parkway and 15 miles the next day.

Leslie - we should do the Rail Trail for a loooooong time the last weekend in August.... I head to Europe after that, so will only be doing shorter runs while I am gone there.

Ok- did you just say you are PLANNING, on purpose, to run a marathon and a half in one day and then turn around the next day and run 15 miles? Holy SMOKES! You are my new hero! (I am bowing to you)

Yep. My body needs to get more used to running when the legs are exhausted if I am going to be able to finish a 50 miler.

See what you have to look forward to when you become insane?

Maurine, you are insane and that is why we are such good buds! I am thinking the last weekend in Aug. should work out. I think we should consider the Crest and then run all the way down Millcreek Canyon and to my house. It would be 25 miles or so, more variety on the terrain, the rail trail could get pretty boring, however, there is such good food to be had in Park City.... decsions decsions!!!
