Decided I was going to beat this depression - so packed a bag last night and dragged myself out of bed early and ran to work and then around the 'big block' (2 miles turning at each stoplight) that I work on.

Les, decided I didn't need to buy a weighted running vest - just carrying a backpack full of clothes and food was pretty heavy.

Down 1 pound from yesterday. 2 to go to reach my latest goal!

Depression is a KILLER! I feel your pain! I'm so glad you made yourself run :D

Hey if the back pack isn't heavy enough, you can always try the jeep, you know for the extra weight and lighting!

Excellent loss! I'm, down 3 from yesterday (the girls camp weight finally caved and left me ;) Yippee! Now the real battle begins with the "real" fat!

Yeah - it is getting darker in the mornings and I might need headlights instead of a headlamp.

Muarine, running will keep the depression away! I am looking forward to spending Sat. and with you and Laurie!! I think you are going to win the weight loss challange, I am 5 pounds away from my goal.

Excellent walk home! Running does help with depression. I have been a lunatic without the running. I am yelling at everyone. Should I tell them to start praying my leg gets better so I can run and quit being such a ... grump!

Maurine, I just bought Odee a backpack from REI, he doesn't seem to mind it. He can carry his own water and bowl now!!!

Les - that's great. Can we get him a saddle to carry us too?

Maybe we should get a cowbell on his collar so we can hear where he is!

Good idea!
