Very stressful day at work and I needed to destress afterwards.

30 minutes aerobic training on the Wii Fit. (Included 15 minutes running in place)

Took a break and vacuumed the house.

30 minutes strength training on the Wii Fit.

Took another break to mop all the other floors and eat dinner.

1.7 miles running with the dog, then dropped her off and finished up for a total of 4.6 miles. Achilles loosened up after the initial run.

Stretching

Came up with a good blog post (in my opinion) while running. Will post it after my bath when icing my ankle and knee.

Nice evening work out!!! Wow! Are you doing the slam? What's your post?

. . .oh, I will check out your other blog. . . I'm sure that's what you meant . ? I'm a little slow!

You make me laugh!!

So ... do you like the Wii Fit? I have thought about getting it.

How is your achilles today?

Amber - yep - check out my Adventures in Running blog (although it now combines personal and business posts on top of running).

Not doing the slam this year. Too many injuries last year, so am using 2010 to rebuild strength.

Teena - I do like the WiiFit (most of the time). Right now I am working on opening up all the exercises - after a while I am sure I will do less and less of easy or useless ones (like I don't see the point of running in place when I can run outside).

Taking a break to clean house isn't really a break, is it?

My hubby wants to get WiiFit. Sounds like fun!

Sounds like a good destressor + house cleaning work out. I've been needing to destress after work too, and I feel like I'm about to burst! I need to get outside, but this terrible air and my work schedule is killing me. HEre's to survival mode and guitar hero (or wii fit!).
