RHR - 48

.75 miles with the puppies this morning. Arm workout included at no extra charge trying to keep them each on their side of the sidewalk and moving.

Marion and Luz - I'm going to back out on running with you on Saturday.  There is a nutrition seminar I want to attend in Layton at 12:30 and I think I will go run up North so that I can attend it.  Anyone want to go to a free Nutrition Seminar with me?

Since everyone wussed out on the run this afternoon and I was stressed from work - I went to the gym.

1 hour on the arc trainer on a cardio setting.  I was pouring sweat the entire time and had a high rate - but the machine says I only did 3 miles, so that is what I am putting down.

1 hour on the stationary bike - higher settings the first half hour, then dropped it slightly the last half hour when the knee started hurting. 15 miles on the odometer.

Watching Biggest Loser.  The makeover section made me cry.  Now Laura's stress fracture of her hip (3 months of no pain activity - Teena - are you listening) is making me cry.  Maybe I am a crybaby.

I'm going to do more tonight. I WAS going to run with Leslie - but I think she is afraid of melting - so will do my 6 miles after work around Wheeler Farm.

Puppies????

I have the SL half, but you fill me on on what they say about nutrition (not that I will listen, i am pig-headed about eating junk!)

You're da puppy nanny this week!!!

Take lots and lots and lots of notes at the seminar. I need help.

Yes, Kelli - puppies plural. I am puppy sitting my sister's male yorkie while her female is in heat. I got home from work yesterday to find out they had somehow worked the kitchen gate open and had the run of my place all day. Lots of fun cleaning up all their messes everywhere - not.

I can't believe your resting HR is only 48! Holy Cow! No wonder you can run 50K's! You definately need a low HR to deal with TWO puppies! I adopted my dog at 3 yrs old so I didn't have to deal with it :) Enjoy the dampness this evening!

My biggest loser rant - Can't Ron hear what he is saying! Does he not realize that when he talks about other people needing to go home to help out obese family members or when he talks about how an injured person should not stay on the show - that it only makes him look like a two faced fool! "There is one standard for everyone else - and another standard for the great ME" (my idea of what he thinks).

From Kelli on Tue, Apr 14, 2009 at 23:29:48 from 71.219.84.191

I JUST finished watching it! How funny. I felt so bad for Ron's son. He really needs to go home and start helping him, REALLY!!!! The poor kid is miserable and needs help. I did agree that Laura needed to go home, though. Seriously, how do you nurse an injury like that in this competition??? She would have pushed it at some point and gotten hurt. Poor girl, I did feel bad for her.

Now, I know you love TARA, but I am so sick of her winning all of the prizes!!! Dang, she has won everything. She is a competitor and i do not want her to let anyone else win, I just wish that someone else would get a prize for a change. She does not need to have every prize!!!!

LOL - I missed the challenge - I was stuck in a stupid drivethrough at Taco Bell. I finally backed out after 20 minutes and vowed to never go there again.

Who came in second? Sione? If so - he needs to learn to quit giving up. Have you noticed that he does well and then folds once Tara passes him. I think he has a mental block about winning - like in the half marathon when he couldn't walk any more from cramping. Heck - that close to the finish line I would have crawled.

From Kelli on Wed, Apr 15, 2009 at 14:28:09 from 71.219.84.191

Nope, Sione is gone, remember??? Filipe came in second. The sad thing is that he was leading the entire time! She was having a hard time getting her balance, but once she got it she cruised and beat him in the last few feet becasue he lost his balance. It was a bummer. I do think everyone has a mental block when it comes to her----she catches them and they quit. It is sad, that is why I want someone to just beat her once. It will help all of them to see she is not invincible and give her a little humility. She is one heck of a competitor, the likes of which has never been seen on this show before.

Oops - my bad. They all look alike to me (not really).

Now - if I had only opened my new issue of Good Housekeeping 10 minutes earlier, I would have known the results. They have an article on Biggest Loser and Laura was missing from the picture.

From Kelli on Wed, Apr 15, 2009 at 14:48:51 from 71.219.84.191

That is funny----I read that yesterday afternoon and did not notice! I did notice that Ron had shaved his beard, so when we were watching the show Scott thought I had ESP. Tara looked really good in that magazine, even better than she looks on TV.

From leslie on Wed, Apr 15, 2009 at 19:24:04 from 76.23.61.78

I am waiting for your Wed. report, I guess I will write mine. Don't know what to say though
