Thanks Maurine, I am so tired. It feels good though, it was a great morning with you and Gary!!!

AWESOME! Check out that resting heart rate. WOW.

Yay - Gary is setting up his blog right now!

You are awesome. I love this blog site. It will give me something to do when I am avoiding my work projects! Can you remember the name of the shops and information you gave me. I took a shower before transcribing the notes from my hand and it is all lost.

NICE 20 miler! How wonderful to have Leslie and a new friend, Gary, run with you. Looks like you're ready for Ogden. Can't wait to see you!

Twenty miles already? How do you feel?

From tarzan on Sat, Apr 25, 2009 at 21:13:43 from 63.255.172.2

Steve - I feel fine (except when going up and down stairs). I did 35 miles 2 months ago and 27 miles 4 weeks ago - so didn't lose too much endurance the week I was injured from the 50 mile race.

Started feeling the quads the last 2 miles. We didn't push very much today - took it nice and easy.

Think I'll take an ice bath tomorrow morning - I had to get into work right after our run and didn't feel like doing one this afternoon.

Yeah!! Glad GAry is getting on the blog!

From tarzan on Sat, Apr 25, 2009 at 21:17:19 from 63.255.172.2

Smooth - I'm not ready to race Ogden like I had originally planned, but I think I am ready for it as a nice training run. I am really pleased with how my IT Band is NOT coming back. I think the yoga I have added in has helped with the stretching of that tendon.

From Smooth on Sat, Apr 25, 2009 at 21:25:35 from 71.36.71.239

GOOD JOB paying attention to your body and the IT Bandit. Ice and yoga works! Save the racing for when the equipments are ready...no worries.

From tarzan on Sat, Apr 25, 2009 at 21:27:00 from 63.255.172.2

IT Bandit - that is a perfect name for it!

Oh Leslie - you owe me $6 (neener, neener)

Smooth, that was so cute, "when the equipment is ready", my equipment is broken and needs some repair work! I have a lot of work ahead of me! So glad you are back blogging, I have missed all your cheery comments!!!!

Nice Miles!!! Good to see that you are healing nicely. I should incorporate more yoga into my routine.

Already up to 20? Not sure if I am concerned you're jumping back fast or just jealous :)

From Maurine/Tarzan on Mon, Apr 27, 2009 at 10:20:40 from 63.255.172.2

Michelle - I wish you were jumping back as fast! My heart is breaking over what you are going through.

I think the difference is that:

1) I don't push as hard as you do

2) I did quit before the injury got to the point that it would take me out for a long time and I took that week to let it rest and pushed as much healing as I could.
